One sunny morning in his golden bed, Speedy the tortoise heard his golden clock wake him up. Outside on the race course Speedy could hear cars start their engines. Quickly Speedy whizzed downstairs. Speedy rushed out of the door and zoomed off to the race course in his golden car.

At the race course Speedy overtook lots of different cars and was soon in second place. The Trick Racer was in first place, but Speedy didn’t know he was a Trick Racer and up to no good. The Trick Racer shot a bomb at Speedy’s car. Speedy used his bounce back shield to destroy the bomb to keep other racers safe. When the Trick racer looked back to see what damage he had done, Speedy’s car was not scratched, while he was looking back he accidentally drove into a lake. Speedy came first and won the race.
