Fancy doing an Illustration?

In 'A New House for Smudge' Smudge didn't really want to move, but later loved her new house. What do you think changed her mind?
If you had to move, what would your perfect place to live be like? Would it be a fairytale castle or a secret hideout in the woods? Would it be fun to live in the jungle? Or on another planet? Or at the bottom of the sea?

Here's an idea to get you started...
Or how about this instead...
'The Show at Rickety Barn' was great fun for me to illustrate, because of all the crazy things I got to draw!
Think of your own really brilliant place to live - it can be anything, anywhere! Now do an illustration of yourself there.
Smudge made new friends at her new house. Draw some of the friends you might meet at your new house. Now think of an adventure you can have with them and do an illustration of the most exciting part!
Imagine you and your friends are going to be in a show. What sort of thing would you be good at? Better still - what would you really like to be good at? Pie throwing? Snake charming? Looping-the-loop in a plane?
Make up a show for you and your friends to be in - think up fun things for everyone to do. Would you work as a team, like Flora and the acrobatic sheep, or would everyone do something different? Do an illustration of the big performance, just like the last page in 'The Show at Rickety Barn' - the madder the better!
Smudge finds a river with a little boat at the end of her garden. What do you think you might find at the end of your fantasy garden? Whatever it is, do an illustration of you and your make-believe friends having fun with it.
