Writers and illustrators spend too long in the company of their computer or drawing board, so I love the chance to escape to the real world for a while, to meet the children who read my books or discuss my work with other grown-ups.
I work with children from 4 years up and do workshops and lectures for art students and adults. I have been offering these events across the UK for 14 years and, in the last 5 years have also held workshops in Beijing, Barcelona, Santo Domingo, and Paraty (Brazil). These listed events are tried and tested, but if you have some specific in mind, please get in touch.
Please note: I need an adult height, proper flipchart, with flipchart pad, for all workshops and storytellings. Please don’t give me bits of sugar-paper or a whiteboard instead!
